The minimum wage support for private-sector employers in 2026 has been enacted by Law No. 7573, published in the Official Gazette of 29.01.2026. The Law also contains a provision on the minimum pension.
The support covers January – December 2026. The amount is set at TRY 42.33 per premium payment day. For an insured employee working a full month (30 days), this is about TRY 1,270 a month.
The support does not apply to public administrations or to insured persons outside Article 4/1-a of Law No. 5510. The support is offset against the premiums the employer pays to SGK and is funded by the Unemployment Insurance Fund.
An employer that reported a total of 300 days in March 2025 for 10 insured employees with daily earnings below TRY 1,300, and keeps the same number of insured employees in March 2026, benefits from 300 × 42.33 = TRY 12,699 of support, deducted from its March 2026 premium debt.
The Law raises the minimum pension to TRY 20,000 from the January 2026 payment period.
The key conditions for the support are maintaining the number of insured employees and having no debt. We recommend that employers plan their monthly declarations with the employee number comparison in mind and pay premiums on time.
